After over three months of trialling, John Lewis & Partners is extending its Click & Collect service to more than 50 Co-op Group food stores.
In May, the employee-owned business struck a deal with the Group to launch its click-and-collect service in six Co-op food stores. Over the next two months the service will be extended to more Co-op shops. The initiative forms part of the John Lewis & Partners’ strategy to invest and innovate in its digital capabilities to improve customer convenience.
The arrangement enables new and existing customers to access John Lewis’s Next Day Click & Collect service in communities where the partnership has a lower shop presence.
Eva Cullen, partner and head of Customer Fulfilment Operations for John Lewis & Partners, said: “Convenience is more important than ever to our customers and our Click & Collect service allows them to pick up their order at a time and place which suits them.
“Following the successful trial and positive feedback from customers, we are looking forward to extending this service to reach even more customers while engaging with new ones too.”

The service will be rolled out to more Co-op food stores will be complete by the end of October 2019.
