The International Organisation of Industrial and Service Cooperatives (CICOPA) has launched on online survey on youth co-operative entrepreneurs.
The study – part of CICOPA’s campaign WE OWN IT! The future of work is ours – will feed into a global study on trends among young people in establishing and being part of worker, social or producers’/freelancers’ co-ops – as well as new, emerging forms.
CICOPA, a branch of the International Cooperative Alliance that promotes worker co-ops, has a membership of 43 national and regional co-op federations in 28 countries.
The purpose of the study is to inform and raise awareness about the state of youth co-operative entrepreneurship around the world.
The deadline for answering is Friday 26 May and the results of the survey will be publised by the end of the year. The survey is available in English, Spanish and French.
Cicopa is looking for responses from youth co-ops (worker, social or producer/freelancer), and where the majority of members and non-member employees are aged 18-35.
