Co-op Group executive takes chair of employee engagement firm

Co-op Group executive Rod Bulmer has taken on the role of chairman of employee engagement company Engage Solutions Group.

Mr Bulmer will take on the role on an unsalaried, part-time basis and will continue his duties at the Co-op Group, where he is director of the Renewal phase of the society’s turnaround, and chief executive of consumer services.

He previously served as managing director of retail banking at the Co-op Bank, from 2007-2014.

Liverpool-based Engage, which developed the Employee Engage App and specialises in “people and engagement strategy, leadership effectiveness, and underpinned with people analytics”, says the move with “further strengthen” its board.
