Keynote speakers announced for World Credit Union Conference in Singapore

Fintech expert Chris Skinner, digital economy influencer Shivvy Jervis and customer experience consultant Ron Kaufman will address delegates

The World Council of Credit Unions WOCCU has confirmed the keynote speakers for its annual conference in Singapore.

The event, which runs from 15-18 July in Singapore, will bring over 1,600 delegates from more than 60 countries to discuss key themes including fintech, digital transition and customer journey.

Chris Skinner will examine the future of financial services

Speakers include Fintech expert and best-selling author Chris Skinner, who will focus on the future of financial services on a global scale.

Mr Skinner is a commentator on financial markets and fintech through his blog, the Finanser, and chairs the European networking forum, the Financial Services Club and Nordic Finance Innovation. He is also non-executive director of Fintech consultancy firm 11:FS.

He has been voted Game Changer of the Year and Financial Markets Advisor of the Year by Finance Monthly, CEO of the Year by CV Magazine, and FinTech Speaker of the Year by TMT Global. He has advised the White House, the World Bank and the World Economic Forum.

 

Digital economy expert Shivvy Jervis will look at blockchain and big data

Speakers also include Shivvy Jervis, a digital economy expert who has been recognised as one of Britain’s top digital influencers and one of Europe’s 30 leading women in tech. She created and presents the online video series, Digital Futures, and produced and fronted The Trailblazers – showcasing the next wave of digital pioneers.Ms Jarvis has received more than 18 national and international accolades for her work and was voted a thought leader for “making digital Britain tick”.

At the conference she will look at digital trends such as blockchain, artificial intelligence and big data.

Customer experience consultant Ron Kaufman

The third speaker announced is Ron Kaufman, an award-winning customer experience consultant who is rated as one of the “Top 25 Who’s Hot” speakers by Speaker Magazine. He is the author of the New York Times and USA Today bestseller, Uplifting Service! The Proven Path to Delighting Your Customers, Colleagues and Everyone Else You Meet.

Mr Kaufman is also the founder of UP! Your Service, a company that enables leaders and organisations to build Uplifting Service cultures for sustainable advantage. At the conference he will discuss how credit unions can offer members the best customer service as the industry transitions from physical branches to digital platforms.

The three speakers will also be available for questions and insights during the Executive Series, a discussion over lunch and breakfast.
