The World Council of Credit Unions (Woccu) has revealed three additional keynote speakers for its annual conference, which is held on 28–31 July in the Bahamas.
The global event, which brings together over 1,800 delegates from the credit union sector, will feature presentations on leadership, cybersecurity, digital technologies and the economy.
Last month WOCCU confirmed Connie Dieken, founder of Influence360˚ and strategic advisory firm Dieken Group, as a keynote speaker. A former award winning television journalist, Ms Dicken helps senior leaders at the world’s biggest brands influence positive change during their organisations’ defining moments.
Delegates will also hear from Patrick Schwerdtfeger, founder of Trend Mastery and the host of the Strategic Business Insights video.
An author of several books, he specialises in big data, artificial intelligence, fintech, blockchain, and digital marketing.
He has been featured in The New York Times, CNN Money, and Fortune.
A third speaker, Dr Pippa Malmgren, will talk about her experience as a presidential advisor to George W. Bush and on the National Economic Council.
She is a co-founder of H Robotics, which manufactures modular, commercial-use drones, and she was named one of the 50 Top Inspiring Women in the UK and one of the Top 100 in Tech by @WATC_WeAreTech. She is a regular guest anchor on CNBC and a regular commentator on the BBC.
On the topic of cybersecurity, delegates will hear from computer security expert Mikko Hypponen, chief research officer at F-Secure. He has advised governments, lectured at the universities of Stanford, Oxford and Cambridge, and was named one of the 50 most important people on the web by PC World magazine.
A TedX speaker, he has spoken at the world’s foremost security conferences such as Black Hat, DEF CON, DLD, and RSA. He sits on the advisory boards of Europol and the Monetary Authority of Singapore.
