Lincolnshire Co-op plans new store in Keelby

The store, which will create 15 jobs, is set to open next year

Fifteen jobs are to be created at a new Lincolnshire Co-op after the local authority granted planning approval.

The society says the new shop, off Stallingborough Road in Keelby, near Grimsby, will be a “focal hub in Keelby for decades to come”.

The store will stock a wide range of groceries and there will also be a cash machine and takeaway Costa Coffee.

A spokesperson for Lincolnshire Co-op said: “The range on offer would include food-to-go, fruit and veg, a large selection of chilled meal solutions, plus cold beers and wines.

“There will also be a wide selection of groceries including the Love Local range, which features goods sourced from our area.

“Services would include a free-to-use ATM and takeaway Costa Coffee.

“The store is set to open in early 2021 and it would create 15 full and part-time jobs.”

There will also be a 25-space car park at the store.
